The best of Adelaide businesses were celebrated on Monday evening at the 2019 City Awards. Over 450 nominations were received in celebration of our favourite places and experiences across the city and North Adelaide.
Lord Mayor of Adelaide Sandy Verschoor opened the awards presentation, sharing the City of Adelaide’s commitment to business growth.
"We are committed to fostering the growth of our city’s established businesses and are investing in areas which will strengthen our competitive position to help attract more businesses to the city and North Adelaide," said the Lord Mayor.
Four Business Excellence prizes were awarded by the City of Adelaide which recognised creativity, green incentives, smart business and liveability.
The best of retail, hospitality and entertainment were also celebrated with ten additional awards.
The City of Adelaide is a proud sponsor of the awards, recognising that successful businesses increase the vibrancy of the city, support a strong local economy and create a destination to be enjoyed by all.
