The China Digital Marketing series will be a first-of-its-kind business education program, drawing on the the added muscle of project partners The City of Adelaide and PwC to reach a wide business audience with an estimated 400 plus participants. 

Across four seminars the series will bring together industry experts, service providers and businesses to give essential know-how on leveraging the power of digital media to reach Chinese consumers.

Next Thursday’s launch seminar ‘China here and now: Communicating with the multi-billion dollar local market’, will first turn the lens on SA, where an increasing influx of Chinse visitors and a well-heeled population of local Chinese are craving authentic South Australian experiences.

‘China consumers are absolutely hungry for the clean, green produce and boutique offerings SA excels at,’ says Sean Keenihan, President of ACBC SA and influential South Australian business leader in his capacity as Chair of both SA Tourism and Study Adelaide.

‘When it comes to connecting with Chinese consumers, digital is where it is at. Digital media offers so many possibilities: Jumping the language barrier. Bypassing traditional exporting structures to reach directly to consumers in China. Engaging Chinese communities right here in SA. The landscape is changing rapidly and the future is exciting.

‘ACBC is determined to give SA businesses the tools and resources they need to access the unprecedented opportunities on offer.’

The Right Honourable The Lord Mayor of Adelaide, Martin Haese will launch the series. Also featured on 16 August will be previously unreleased research into Chinese consumer behaviour in SA by game-changing tech company UWAI.
